Dr. Marcus Chen leads Visara's surgical division with over 18 years of subspecialty experience in corneal surgery and refractive procedures. Trained at Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute, he has performed more than 4,000 LASIK and corneal transplant procedures with outcomes consistently above national benchmarks. Dr. Chen's clinical focus is precision not volume. Each patient receives a full pre-operative assessment, reviewed personally before any surgical decision is made. His research on wavefront-guided LASIK has been published in the Journal of Refractive Surgery and presented at the American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meeting.
